Anthony of Lovemore Music & Greg of Rollinson Pianos both own a wealth of expertise within the music industry
Anthony & Naomi Franklin took ownership of Lovemore Music Centre in December 1998, having come from a rich musical background in Liverpool and Manchester. Naomi’s father owned Hessy’s Music Centre in Liverpool, which supplied the Beatles with their musical equipment in the late 50’s and early 60’s.
With music firmly in their blood, it was a natural progression to go back into the music industry in South Africa. Starting with their first branch in Brixton, they soon expanded the company with a new branch in Illovo in 2004, and a flagship store in Irene, Pretoria, in 2006. Lovemore Music Centre is pleased to announce the opening of its fourth retail outlet in June 2009, situated in the East Rand Value Mall, Boksburg. Now with four stores in Gauteng, Lovemore Music is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry – we are South Africa’s biggest importer of sheet music, the largest retailer of Yamaha products, we have a fully equipped in-house workshop, and we sell all musical instruments and accessories.

Early last year, after working with Greg Rollinson for 8 years, Anthony was approached to take over Lincoln Bros, trading as Kahn’s Pianos. Through Greg’s experience in piano restoration and maintenance, and Anthony’s vast retail knowledge, a strong partnership was formed.
